Friar Tuck’s Well

Part of the cascade of Friar Tuck’s Well, presumably also know as St Lawrence’s Spring, a holy well or sacred spring on the east of Fountain Dale. Friar Tuck was supposedly one of a number of hermits who lived beside the well in a cell-cave. According to some traditions, the nearby moat is where he threw Robin into the water.
