XLIV. Sciant…ego Johannes filius Roberti de Whitewell…concessi…Ricardo Kalle…unum toftum in villa de Whitewell quod jacet inter toftum quod Bartholomeus Romanus tenuit et terram quam Robertus Camerarius tenuit, et duas acras terre in campsis ejusdem ville, videlicet, unam acram terre que jacet inter terram quam Robertus Hode tenuit et terram quam Robertus de Whitewell tenuit, et unam acram quam Langus quondam tenuerat…pro quadam summa pecunie quam..michi premanibus pacavit. Reddendo inde annuatim michi…duos solidos sterlingorum…duodecim denarios ad Pentacosten et duodecim denarios ad festum sancti Martini in yeme, pro omnibus serviciis’.

Translation:

44. Let them know…I John, son of Robert de Whitewell…granted…to Richard Kalle…one toft in the town of Whitewell which lies between the toft which Bartholomew Romanus held and the land which Robert Camerarius held, and two acres of land in the fields of the same town, to wit, one acre of land which it lies between the land that Robert Hode held and the land that Robert de Whitewell held, and one acre that Langus once held… for a certain sum of money which… he settled with my servants. Paying thence yearly to me…two shillings sterling…twelve pence at Pentecost and twelve pence at the feast of St. Martin in the yeme, for all services’.

Galfridus filius Roberti de Whitewell… concessi…Johanni. fratri meo pro homagio et servicio, unum toftum in Whitewell quod jacet inter toftum quod Bartholomeus Romanus tenuit et terram quam Robertus Camerarius tenuit, et duas acras in campsis ejusdem ville, videlicet, unam acram que jacet inter terram quam Robertus Hudi tenuit et terram quam Willelmus de Whitewell tenuit et unam acram quam Langus quondam tenuerat… Reddendo inde annuatim michi… duos solidos et unum par albarum cirotecarum…xij ad festum sancti Martini et cirotecas in die Natalis pro omni servicio…

Translation:

227. Let them know… Galfrid son of Robert de Whitewell… granted… to John. to my brother for homage and service, one toft in Whitewell which lies between the toft which Bartholomew Romanus held and the land which Robert Camerarius held, and two acres in the fields of the same town, viz., one acre which lies between the land which Robert Hudi held and the land which William He held of Whitewell and one acre which Langus once held… Paying thence yearly to me… two shillings and one pair of white cyrotheca…xij at the feast of St. Martin and the cirotecas on the day of Christmas for every service…
